Following a 33 year career with Unilever, first in India and then in the UK, Naren Nanda retired in 2003. At the time, he was heading the Human Resources function for Unilever's global Home and Personal Care business. Following retirement, Naren set up Enen and began coaching senior executives, helping them find success and fulfilment in their professional and personal lives.
Naren graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India in 1970 as a chemical engineer. After early experience in manufacturing and factory management in Hindustan Lever, he moved into the Human Resources function. He headed the Human resources function in the Unilever Companies in India before moving to the U.K in 1995 where he performed a range of senior business development and strategic Human Resources leadership roles.
Naren has been coaching clients in the U.K., India and Japan. In his work as an executive coach, Naren brings not only a wealth of leadership experience from senior international business roles but also all of himself. A deeply empathetic and intuitive person, Naren has come to coaching in an authentic and values driven way. He sees his work as an executive coach as one of deep learning and sharing.
